Using Jtds Driver to Connect to SQLServer from Java Stored Procedure fails with Prohibited package name: java.sql (Doc ID 782172.1)

Symptoms

After upgrade to 10.2 connection from java stored procedure to SQLServer using jTDS driver fails with

Cause: FDPSTP failed due to ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception:
java.lang.InternalError: Prohibited package name: java.sql


Also loading jdbc3_0-ext.jar (which is part of JTDS driver) into 10.2 fails with

resolving: class APPS.java/sql/ParameterMetaData
errors : class APPS.java/sql/ParameterMetaData
ORA-29552: verification warning: java.lang.SecurityException: Prohibited package name: java.sql

resolving: class APPS.java/sql/Savepoint
errors : class APPS.java/sql/Savepoint
ORA-29552: verification warning: java.lang.SecurityException: Prohibited package name: java.sql
