Symptoms
After upgrading to 10GR2, view SYS.USER_OUTLINE_HINTS is invalid
SQL> select name, type, text from dba_errors where owner = 'SYS';

TEXT
USER_OUTLINE_HINTS VIEW
ORA-00904: "H"."HINT_STRING": invalid identifier
DBA_OUTLINE_HINTS VIEW
