Information in this document applies to any platform.
Attempting to add a new node to an existing cluster. The crs has been extended and the node has been added in successfully.
The problem occurs when trying to extend the ORACLE_HOME (RDBMS/ASM) to the new node.
The addnode.sh is run from the ORACLE_HOME/oui directory.
The message thrown up is of the form :
"The virtual host name "<vip>' for node '<nodename>' is already in use.,"
The addnode procedure fails.
