Purpose

This bulletin clarifies Oracle's position regarding the movement (or export/import) of Oracle Label Security (OLS) policies between databases.

Scope

This bulletin is meant for anybody who administers a database in which Oracle Label Security is used, specifically in cases where it is likely that the data will need to be moved to other databases in the future.
