This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms
Data pump import or export job does not appear to be doing any work.
The import/export log does not show any errors.
The DBA_DATAPUMP_JOBS view shows the job status as executing.
Interactive status of the job via the STATUS= parameter shows job is executing.
The view V$SESSION_LONGOPS does not show the import job progessing.
