ORA-600[504][IPC stats buffer allocation latch] Error Raised On RAC While Using DataPump (Doc ID 788846.1)

Symptoms

DataPump fails with the following ORA-00600 error seen in the log file:
     ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [504], ... [IPC stats buffer allocation latch]

Alert.log file will contain something like the following:
     ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [504], ... [IPC stats buffer allocation latch]

The ORA-00600 trace shows that the error is reported for Data Pump Master and there is not a SQL statement associated with this error:
     ***MODULE NAME:(Data Pump Master) 2008-10-28 04:39:35.504
     ***ACTION NAME(EXP_1225164807305-SP0_162)2008-10-28 04:39:35.504

     ----- SQL Statement (None) -----
     Current SQL information unavailable - no cursor.

Trace file call stack will be similar to the following:
