ORA-600 [qcpiapr] When Selecting the SYS_OP_BITVEC Pseudo Column

A SQL statement that includes the SYS_OP_BITVEC pseudo column was found to be executed by a parallel slave process. When trying to get a query plan for the statement, an EXPLAIN PLAN was executed in a session and the following error raised:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [qcpiapr], , , , , , , 
The call stack is similar to:
