Symptoms

A Pro*Cobol program that worked under Oracle release 9.2.0.5 and that compiles and links cleanly under Oracle release 9.2.0.7 and 9.2.0.8 produces errors relating to SQL syntax problems when executed.

For example:

   ORA-907: missing right parenthesis

   ORA-1756: quoted string not properly terminated

Changes

Applied the 9.2.0.7 or 9.2.0.8 patchset.
