Invalid Synonyms After Importing With Data Pump (Doc ID 793609.1)

Symptoms

After a successful Data Pump import of a schema, synonyms from this schema are in INVALID status as shown by:

SELECT status, object_id, object_type, owner||'.'||object_name "OWNER.OBJECT"
FROM dba_objects
WHERE status != 'VALID'
ORDER BY 4,2;

This does not happen with classic export / import.
