Symptoms

You try to export a user with original export using the parameters:

#> exp system/<passwd> file=ops.dmp owner=ops log=ops.log

and received the error:

...
. exporting object type definitions for user OPS
EXP-00090: cannot pin type "OPS"."TYP001"
EXP-00056: ORACLE error 22303 encountered
OCI-22303: type "OPS"."TYP001" not found
...

The type OPS.TYP001 exists and is invalid. You tried to compile it:

SQL> ALTER TYPE "OPS"."TYP001" COMPILE;

but this failed with:

ORA-06545: PL/SQL: compilation error - compilation aborted
