Symptoms

You try to export a user with original export using the parameters:

#> exp system/<PASSWORD> file=<DUMPFILE> owner=<SCHEMA_NAME> log=<LOGFILE>

and received the error:

...
. exporting object type definitions for user <SCHEMA_NAME>
EXP-00090: cannot pin type "<SCHEMA_NAME>"."<TYPE_NAME>"
EXP-00056: ORACLE error 22303 encountered
OCI-22303: type "<SCHEMA_NAME>"."<TYPE_NAME>" not found
...

The type <SCHEMA_NAME>.<TYPE_NAME> exists and is invalid. You tried to compile it:

SQL> ALTER TYPE "<SCHEMA_NAME>"."<TYPE_NAME>" COMPILE;

but this failed with:

ORA-06545: PL/SQL: compilation error - compilation aborted
