ORA-933 When trying to execute SQL accessing remote tables (Doc ID 797731.1)

Symptoms

When trying to insert through dblink, getting the following errors:

ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended
ORA-02063: preceding line from ORCL102D

 

- Same select works fine without the insert.
- When execute the insert on the site where the tables resides, the insert runs fine.
