Symptoms

Error logging on to SQLPLUS as non-system account or Application Schema:  ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1 ORA-00027: cannot kill current session ORA-06512: at line 34

Error: ORA 27
Text: cannot kill current session
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cause: An attempt was made to kill the current session with the ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION command.
Action: If it is necessary to kill the current session, do so from another session.


Changes

When a user account that is a non system (NOT sys, system, etc.) or NOT the Application Schema/Owner (imany_medi) attempts to login to the database via SQLPLUS, TOAD for Oracle or Oracle SQL Developer the following errors occur:

ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-00027: cannot kill current session
ORA-06512: at line 34
