Symptoms

One or more of the following errors may be seen in the alert log:
     ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17001]
     ORA-7445: exception encountered: core dump [ACCESS_VIOLATION] [kglpCompare]
     ORA-7445: exception encountered: core dump [ACCESS_VIOLATION] [opiosq0]

The various call stacks can look like this:
     ora-600[17001] => kglget kkdltob kksauc kksCheckCriteria kksCheckCursor kksSearchChildList
                                     kksfbc kkspsc0 kksParseCursor opiosq0 ... 
     ora-7445[kglpCompare] => kglpCompare kksCheckCriteria kksCheckCursor kksSearchChildList
                                                  kksfbc kkspsc0 kksParseCursor opiosq0 ...
     ora-7445[opiosq0] => opiosq0 kpooprx kpoal8 opiodr ttcpip ...

The trace file may capture "No current SQL statement being executed."

This issue is restricted to the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 platform.
