Last updated on AUGUST 04, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition - Version: 9.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.2
Oracle Server - Standard Edition - Version: 9.2.0.1 to 10.2.0.2
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

When running a SELECT statement that uses both ANSI and Oracle style outer joins an error similar to the following is raised:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kokmrwo_agg()+98] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x0] [] []

The call stack looks similar to:
... kokmrwo_agg kokmrwo qkagby qkaqkn qkadrv ...

An example of a query using mixed Oracle and ANSI style outer joins could be:
SQL> select v.c v_c, t2.c t2_c
     from (select t1.c from t1, t3 where t1.c=t3.c(+)) v
     full outer join t2 on v.c=t2.c;
