SQL*Plus Permission Issue For Non-Dba Users After 11g Install (Doc ID 845313.1)

SQL*Plus - Version 10.2.0.3 to 11.1.0.7 [Release Oracle10g to 11.1]
Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 10.2.0.3 to 11.1.0.7 [Release 10.2 to 11.1]
IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)

Symptoms

New installation of Database version 11.1 on AIX 5.3 Platform.

When attempting to run SQL*Plus with a non-oracle user, the following error occurs:

>  sqlplus
487568 : map : Permission Denied
Memory fault(coredump)



-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install Database software 11.1.
2. Run SQL*Plus as non-oracle user who does not belong to the dba unix group.
3. Error is returned.

Changes

This error does not happen with an Oracle user or any user in the same unix group as oracle.

Issue is just for non-oracle users and users that do not belong to the dba unix group.

There is not any ChangePerm.sh file for release 11.
