Symptoms
New installation of Database version 11.1 on AIX 5.3 Platform.
When attempting to run SQL*Plus with a non-oracle user, the following error occurs:
-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Install Database software 11.1.
2. Run SQL*Plus as non-oracle user who does not belong to the dba unix group.
3. Error is returned.
Changes
This error does not happen with an oracle user or any user in the same unix group (dba) as oracle.
There is not any ChangePerm.sh file for release 11.
