IBM WEBSPHERE VERSION MQ 5.3
When processing zero-byte messages from an IBM Websphere MQ queue, PG4MQ v10.2 raises an ORA-6502 error.
PG4MQ v9 allowed you to place a 0-byte message into a local variable, where the length could be determined and skipped if 0-byte. Now with version 10, the gateway no longer allows you to place 0-byte messages into the local variable - the message causes an ORA-6502 error.
