Goal

The goal of this document is to explain what document types are supported with the File Source Crawler in Secure Enterprise Search version 10.1.8.4.0.  The document types listed in this note are relevant for version 10.1.8.4.0 only. 

The supported file types can change from version to version. For a complete list of supported document types for the version of Secure Enterprise Search you are using, open the Oracle SES Administration GUI, customize a new file source, and select the "Document Types" subtab.  This will list all of the available document types.
