RMAN uses the sys user to take the backup internally even if take RMAN backup using backup user (other than sys)

$rman target TEST_BKP/TEST_BKP

connected to target database: DB11G (DBID=145127474)

Username in v$session shows sys for RMAN session:

SQL> select sid,username from v$session where UPPER(MODULE) like 'RMAN%';

---------- ------------------------------
115         SYS
130         SYS
