DBWR Trace and RBAL Dump in RDBMS Alert.log that Uses ASM (Doc ID 863673.1)

Symptoms

In RDBMS alert.log (that uses ASM for storage ) following entries for errors on the DBWR processes report:

Errors in file /<DIR>/admin/xxxxx/bdump/xxxxx_dbw0_23728.trc:
Fri Jun 19 04:17:00 2009
Errors in file /<DIR>/admin/xxxxx/bdump/xxxxx_dbw0_23728.trc:
Fri Jun 19 04:47:00 2009
Errors in file /<DIR>/admin/xxxxx/bdump/xxxxx_dbw0_23728.trc:

In the DBWR tracefile you see RBAL process spinning on the following code functions:

kfkUfsUnident
kfkUnident
kfdGlobalClose
kfgbSendGlobalClose
