DBWR Trace and RBAL Dump in RDBMS Alert.log that Uses ASM

Symptoms
In RDBMS alert.log (that uses ASM for storage ) following entries for errors on the DBWR processes report:

Errors in file /<DIR>/admin/xxxxx/bdump/xxxxx_dbw0_23728.trc:

Errors in file /<DIR>/admin/xxxxx/bdump/xxxxx_dbw0_23728.trc:
In the DBWR tracefile you see RBAL process spinning on the following code functions:
kfkUfsUnident
kfkUnident
kfdGlobalClose
kfgbSendGlobalClose
The other symptoms of this issue could be
- RMAN backup hang and/or slow
- RDBMS Instance Shutdown Immediate hang/slow with no activity
