Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When running OracleSES on Unix, it is unable to parse contents of an NTFS source using the Lin Win Bridge Web Service. This has been verified with version 10.1.8.3.0, 10.1.8.3.1, and 10.1.8.4 of SES and NTFS connector.

The Web Service configuration has been done correctly with the NTFSWebService.zip file from the OracleSES installation because the Web Service functionality has been verified by manual invocation with HTML browser and access to http://<IISServer>:<port>/NTFSWebService/NTFSWebService.asmx works correctly invoking GetDFList, GetMinimalMetadata or GetDocContainer.

However the OracleSES crawler reports errors
