You have referenced the documentation for Oracle 10g and see that the option to rebuild an INDEX using VALIDATE STRUCTURE ONLINE contains a restriction:
"Restriction on ONLINE You cannot specify ONLINE when analyzing a cluster or index."
However, when you execute this no error is returned.
