Details

Oracle Database 11g introduced Database Replay and SQL Performance Analyzer as part of the Real Application Testing option to enable businesses identify issues with system changes before production deployment. The Following Merge patches are available for customers to download from metalink.
This patch is only applicable to 11.1.0.7.0 release of database.
The Note will be updated whenever the patch is superseded.
The Merge patch is a collection of important fixes, applying this merge patch will pro actively avoid problems with Real application testing and hence it is recommended to apply this merge patch.

Actions

Apply the following patches.

 

1) For Database Replay

Patch number 8712466

This is applicable to Capture side only if it is 11.1.0.7.0 version of database,
as well as it is applicable to
Replay side only if it is 11.1.0.7.0 version of database.

2) For SQL PERFORMANCE ANALYZER ( SPA)


Patch number  8756594

This patch is applicable only for 11.1.0.7.0 version of database for both source and destination.

This patch is also applicable to 11.1.0.7.0 version of database if this 11.1.0.7.0 version of database is used to do remote test execution on any other version of database (that is it is used for the "SPA system")

If only SPA or Database Replay is used, you only need patch for that component. If both are used, you need both the patches
