ORA-7445[kgigu] On Trigger Execution (Doc ID 880885.1)

Symptoms

This problem was observed on Oracle 11.1.0.7 64-bit on a Linux x86_64 server

Problem description..
Internal errors seen in the alert log

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kgigul()+41] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x0] [PC:0x2406B11] [Address not mapped to object] []



The failing statement in this case was an insert into sys.aud$

The function stack shows the error occurred while trying to pin a PL/SQL procedure in memory and after instantiating a trigger.
