Symptoms

Various operations on database or database startup fails when secure external password store is configured. Looking in to alert log reveals following error been hit

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kpotcgah-7], [12534], [ORA-12534: TNS:operation not supported], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
