Symptoms

You dropped a tablespace and recreated the tablespace with a different name and then you try to import into that tablespace.

You get the following errors:

IMP-00003: Oracle error 1950 enountered
ORA-01950: no privileges on tablespace "<name>"
IMP-00017: following statement failed with ORACLE error %lu:

Since you dropped and recreated the tablespace, you checked to verify that the user you use to import has proper roles including: connect, resource, imp_full_database.

Also, you set that tablespace as default for the user.

You've made no changes to users, the only change is to the one tablespace.

You may even have tried to connect as that user (in Server Manager, SQL*Plus, etc.) and tried to create an object in that tablespace but failed again with the ORA-01950.
