Symptoms

Getting following error on 10G Release 2 databases which are below 10.2.0.4 patchset after executing following command.

COMMAND

ALTER DATABASE ENABLE BLOCK CHANGE TRACKING

ERROR

----------------------
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 3263376 bytes of shared memory ("large pool","unknown object","largepool","CTWR dba buffer")
Block change tracking service stopping.
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [krccrpio()+24] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to object] [0x000000078] [] [
