Last updated on NOVEMBER 28, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition - Version: 10.1.0.2 to 10.2.0.4
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

Logon triggers are not exported via Data Pump Export. This occurs when using FULL or SCHEMA Export.

TEST CASE
---------
-- create test schema and logon trigger:
connect / as sysdba

drop user tc cascade;
create user tc identified by tc default tablespace users;
alter user tc quota unlimited on users;
grant create session, create trigger to tc;

connect tc/tc
create trigger tc.logontrigger after logon on tc.schema
begin
  null;
end;
/

-- export schema triggers:
connect / as sysdba
expdp system/****** DIRECTORY=test_dp dumpfile=export_schemas.dmp schemas=tc
impdp system/****** DIRECTORY=test_dp dumpfile=export_schemas.dmp sqlfile=script.sql

Verification of script.sql shows the metadata of a Logon Trigger is not stored in the dumpfile.
