Goal
The intent of this article is to show how to configure SQL*Net for Rdb (now renamed OCI Services for Rdb).
This article does not mention how to upgrade SQL*Net for Rdb from versions prior to 7.1 or beyond version 7.1.5.9.1. For upgrades to OCI Services for Rdb version 7.1.6 and higher, see <Note: 177834.1> RDBPROD: Configuring OCI Services for Rdb.
