Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Upgraded database from v11.1.0.7 to 11gR2. After doing so, all SEM_MATCH queries now fail with
error

Error : ORA-00904: "CLASS": invalid identifier

Even after executing the 2 steps and query as documented in the Semantic Technologies Guide:

EXECUTE sdo_rdf_internal.convert_old_rdf_data;

start $ORACLE_HOME/md/admin/semrelod.sql

Executing the query documented in the manual to verify that the RDF conversion was successful or
not:

SELECT namespace, attribute, value FROM mdsys.rdf_parameter
WHERE namespace='MDSYS'
AND attribute IN ('FLOAT_DOUBLE_DECIMAL', 'NULL_LITERAL');

NAMESPACE ATTRIBUTE
------------------------------ ------------------------------
VALUE
MDSYS FLOAT_DOUBLE_DECIMAL
INVALID

MDSYS NULL_LITERAL
INVALID

It shows the data is still invalid.

IMPORTANT INFO:
1. A customm invalid trigger was created on the application table
2. Customized UNIQUE index created on the application table
3. The first time the data migration script failed because of lack of space

Sequence of events leading to the problem:

Create application table
Create model
Load data
Create trigger on application table
Create unique index on application table
Upgrade from 11.1 to 11.2
