Ultra Search Shows Invalid Status on

The Ultra Search component is invalid in DBA_REGISTRY, no invalid objects exists.

SQL> select status from dba_registry where comp_name = 'Oracle Ultra Search';


SQL> select count(*) from dba_objects where owner = 'WKSYS' and status = 'INVALID';


Trying to re-compile Ultra Search as below throws an error and Ultra Search is still invalid:

SQL> @?/ultrasearch/admin/wkvalid.sql


Procedure created.

SQL> set serverout on
SQL> exec sys.validate_wk
Invoking Ultra Search Install/Upgrade validation procedure VALIDATE_WK
= WKSYS schema validation failed: ORA-01031: insufficient
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_REGISTRY", line 83
ORA-01403: no data found

PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.


The database was created using DBCA after the Patch Set has been installed.
