Purpose

Have you ever needed to ask an Oracle expert a technical question or possibly had a pending issue that you need some advice on but you did not want to open a Service Request?
Or possibly wanted to provide feedback on an Oracle product or component or even the tools you use to communicate with Oracle but wanted to know how?

This offering is available in the My Oracle Support Communities.

These communities contain almost all Oracle database products, components, and related Applications (more are added as requirements and community member feedback dictates) and are visited by tens of thousands of Oracle customers, users, engineers, and experts from around the world.

Within these communities, there are many existing issues and solutions, questions and answers, as well as customer created documents that can be easily accessed with various topics covered from "How and why..." to "Is this how it works?" to more complex matters dealing with product tuning and best practices.

Currently, you can subscribe to certain communities through your own profile or you can turn subscription off, which allows visiting ALL communities.
