VMS: How process quotas are set for V10.2 ClusterWare processes (Doc ID 980781.1)

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to clarify how the OpenVMS process quotas are set for the ClusterWare/CRS
processes required when running Oracle RDBMS in RAC mode.

Scope

This article is for analysts and Oracle users who want to understand how an Oracle V10.2 CRS processes acquires  quotas for VMS resources.  Resource, as defined in this article,  refers to an OpenVMS resource such as PGFLQUOTA or BYTLM.
