Goal
You do not have a calendar year (that is, your year does not run from January through December).
You defined your calendar in General Ledger with a Year Type of 'Calendar' rather than 'Fiscal' as follows:
Responsibility = General Ledger Super User GUI
GUI Navigation = Setup/Financials/Calendar/Types
GUI Form Name = GLXSTPTY (Period Types)
