Cannot Delete an Asset in the Period of Addition (Doc ID 1016595.102)

Cannot delete an asset in the period of addition.
Here are the steps taken to do this:
    1.  Navigate to Assets --> Asset Workbench
    2.  Query for asset.
    3.  From Menu, Edit/Clear Record
