Error When Trying to Update or Delete a Journal Imported From Subledger: FRM-40200 Field is protected against update (Doc ID 1032424.6)

Symptoms

When the user tries to update or delete an unposted journal imported from subledger, the following error occurs on the form:

FRM-40200 Field is protected against update

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. The user logs into the Application
  2. Navigate to General Ledger responsibility > Journals > query for an unposted journal imported from subledger
  3. The user tries to update or delete the journal
  4. When the Save button is pressed, the error message occurs.
