TASK MANAGER 'Task Last Updated By' Shows The Assignee Instead of The User Who Updated The Task (Doc ID 1053089.1)

Symptoms

The Record History of an updated Task is showing the record to be updated by an Assignee
of that Task rather than the Owner of the Task that physically made the change.

Steps
1. Set custom code to off so no custom code or personalization will affect the outcome.
2. Query an existing SR
3. Add task to the SR
4. Select task type (Follow up action)
enter end planned date
enter effort 1 hour
enter subject test
Task created

5. Save the SR

6. Add assignee empl/and select assignee from LOV
click save button
check record hist, still correct (SYSADMIN processed change on Audit Tab)

7. Re-query SR
click more button, change status from accepted to completed..
click OK
do you want to save = yes
check record hist - still the same, correct

8.
Requery the SR
click more
then click OK

9. Reviewing the Record History shows the task to be updated by the Assignee
