Symptoms
When processing a receipt in Online Receiving mode the following error is encountered:

rvtptcontrol failed
The debug logfile (Ref <Note: 299497.1>) shows the error RCV_IS_ORPHAN.
When using Immediate/Batch mode the following is encountered in fnd_log_messages:
