GLXJEPST Posting Throws Error7 Invalid Journal Lines (Doc ID 1061835.6)

Symptoms

You are trying to post a batch in General Ledger as follows:

Responsibility = General Ledger Super User GUI
GUI Navigation = Journals/Post
GUI Form Name = GLXJEPST (Post Journals)

1. Query the batch to post by entering the name of the Batch in the Find Journals screen and clicking on the [Find] button.

2. The batch appears on the Post Journals screen. You select the batch. The Batch Information for this batch is listed below:

Post Status = Unpostable Period Status = Open
Batch Status = Error7 Invalid journal entry lines

3. You correct the journal lines which were causing the error and you are still unable to post.
    The Post Journal Entry screen looks the same as it did before you corrected any lines.
