Goal

Question1:
When changing the Work Order job start quantity, the related PO quantity is not changed
even if the WIP parameter 'Propagate Job Change to Purchasing' is already set to Automatic
and even after applying the patch in Note 781020.1 Change In Job Quantity Not Updating The Related PO Quantity.
If the OSP is in the first operation the qty changes happens.
If it is in the other operations, the changes are not happening.
Question2:
For the PO Qty update only if the OSP PO is released upon release of DJ is unacceptable. It is not documented in any of the user guides. Moreover, we cannot have the OSP in first operation as it is dangerous to release PR upon change of status. Here the planning team release the DJ and pass it to Material Center team to pick release the materials. In the operation 10 is to release the materials to OSP supplier where the materials are consigned. Once the materials are issued to OSP supplier , then they want to send a PO to the supplier. So, it is in operation 90.
to answer to some of the points:
1) Why the qty changes : As explained it is the OSP and the decommit notice comes from the supplier due to capacity issues. In a practical world it is happening. So, it is not controllable when the DJ is released how much to move.
2) Even the PO Qty mismatch will happen even if the OSP in first operation if the DJ released and then change the status to unreleased and again change it to release. There will be PO released each time the DJ Status change.
If qty can change for OSP in first operation , why not if the OSP is in the subsequent operations?
Question3:
Is there a chance to get a solution or enhancement for this issue?
