Symptoms


When attempting to delete a contact from an employee record (Contact form) or via Contact API
the following error occurs.

ERROR

BEN_94121_DT_CHILD_EXISTS(TABLE_NAME=BEN_PERSON_ACTIONS)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. XX HRMS Manager > People > Enter and Maintain > Others > Contact
2. Select the Emergency contact and select the red X to delete
3. See the Note:
APP-PER-52805: Deleting the final relationship between the person and the contact,
also deletes the contact for the person.

4. Select to delete the contact and relationship

Decision:
Do you really want to delete this record?

If so, when you have answered any further messages about this 'Delete',
you should press 'Save' to commit your 'Delete' and any other pending transactions.


5. Select 'Yes" to delete the record.
Error:
APP-PER-50024: You must save your work before you can continue


6. Select the 'Save' record icon in the toolbar
Error:
BEN_94121_DT_CHILD_EXISTS(TABLE_NAME=BEN_PERSON_ACTIONS)
