CS_SR_SYNC_TEXT_INDEX
Symptoms
When attempting to run a Concurrent Request for Index Synchronization (i.e. Knowledge Management Solution, Service Request), the following error occurs:
Error:
Sync_Set_Index: Execution failed due to unexpected error. ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified
-or-
Drop_Index: Execution failed due to unexpected error. ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified or timeout expired
Steps:
(R) System Administrator
(N) Requests > Run
- Run the concurrent request 'Knowledge Management: Solution Index Synchronization'
or
- Run the concurrent request 'Service Request: Synchronize Text Index Program'
Business Impact:
- The users can not publish any new entries to the Knowledge Base.
- The users cannot search Service Requests by Summary
- The users might not be able to create Service Requests, encountering the followin errors:
ORA-29875: failed in the execution of the ODCIINDEXINSERT routine
