FORM:XLAABADR.FMB - Account Derivation Rules
EXECUTABLE:XLAACCPB - Create Accounting
Currently customer is using EBTax to create tax accounts through an autoaccounting rule. However, customer would like to create a custom SLA Account Derivation Rules (ADR) to suppress the tax account from ebtax and have the ADR create the tax gl account. This functionality is needed for transactions.
1) Single tax code combination defined in EBTAX.
2) AR Autoaccounting rule for Tax defined to pick the tax account from EBTAX
3) In SLA, setup customer ADR to override natural account based on a certain
condition. This ADR is attached to
event class = Invoice
journal line definition (JLD) = Invoice
Journal Line Type = Invoice Tax
ADR using Source = Transaction Line Description (TRX_LINE_DESCRIPTION)
4) create a transaction that meets the condition required and run create accounting for it.
The tax account is generated but the account is derived from autoaccounting and based on the EBTAX setup and not from the customer SLA ADR.
Is this intended functionality?
