CSI_API_INVALID_SERIAL_NUM Error When Creating Product With Duplicate Serial Number (Doc ID 1070720.1)

Symptoms

When creating an item instance with a serial number already used,the following error occurs:

Error:
 CSI;CSI_API_INVALID_SERIAL_NUM;N;SERIAL_NUMBER;;

Steps To Reproduce:
 1. Go to (R) CMRO Super User responsibility
2. Choose Create Product In the Create Product screen
3. Enter any Item/Serial Number combination which already exists Click on Apply button
