Fully Reserved Asset Not Depreciating After Life Adjustment (Doc ID 107177.1)

Symptoms

An asset is currently fully reserved but the user would like to continue to deprecate the asset.  The life has been adjusted (extended), and then the cost of the asset was adjusted by a penny to force a re-calculation, but the asset is still not depreciating.
