Reconciliation - Automatic Reconciliation Errors With APP-FND-00730 (Doc ID 1072678.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Submit a request for the report Reconciliation - Automatic Reconciliation (GLXRCAUT) and the following error is returned:

APP-FND-00730 : This flexfield has an invalid value set.  It may use a special value set that uses an Edit event user exit, and the user exit has failed.  If you are using a form on a graphical user interface (GUI) you may have an invalid value set of a different type, possibly a table-validated value set where the table or view does not exist or where there is an invalid WHERE clause.

Contact your system administrator or support representative to check and correct the value sets this flexfield uses.

If the value set 'Check Date VS' is defined in the value set form ( FNDFFMVS) as follows:

Value set Name: Check Date VS
List Type: LOV
Security Type: No Security
Format Type : Standard Date <====
Upper case only
max size: 11

then the program 'Reconciliation - Automatic Reconciliation' errors.

When the value set is modified to have a
Format Type: Char (instead of Standard Date)

then the program 'Reconciliation - Automatic Reconciliation' works.

How can a format type of Standard Date be maintained for the descriptive flexfield 'Check Date,' and not have the program 'Reconciliation - Automatic Reconciliation' error out?
