Customer Issue: Cannot Update Customer of Type Person. Error "There is no active profile for party ID XXXX of content source type USER_ENTERED" (Doc ID 1073143.1)

Symptoms

The following error is received when updating a customer of Type = Person in R12.1.2

Error:
There is no active profile for party ID XXXX of content source type USER_ENTERED. If an active profile exists, the content source type passed must be the same as the content source type of the active profile.

Steps to reproduce:
Responsibility: Receivables Manager
Navigation: Customers > Customers
-Query a customer of Type = Person
-Click on the link of the customer name.
-Under Customer Information region, update any of the customer information
-Click Save button. The error appears.
