Symptoms

On 11.5.10.2 in Production:
SSO server wrongly redirects to portal page after session time out due to inactivity. Portal is not and has never been integrated with 11i

ERROR

Error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /pls/${ORACLE_SID}_portal30/PORTAL30.home

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to 11i using single sign on.
2. Navigate to a framework page.
3. Wait until the session is timed out due to inactivity
4. When the user start using the session, the user is redirected to the single sign on server, after successful login the user is wrongly redirected to pls/${ORACLE_SID}_portal30/PORTAL30.home

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot re-login after timeout.
