How to Enable the Initiate Approval Button in Quoting? (Doc ID 1077350.1)

Goal

The purpose of this document is to explain how to enable the Initiate Approval button on a quote.

 If the user entering and processing a quote is not a Salesrep then the Initiate Approval button is not enabled. There could be users who are employees helping Salesreps entering the data but are not real Salesreps.

Steps

  1. Log into Oracle Quoting as a user who is NOT a salesrep
  2. Responsibility: Oracle Quoting
  3. Navigation: Quote
  4. Enter details
  5. Initiate Approval button is disabled (greyed out)
