Applied Receipts Journal Doesn't Match Applied Receipts Register (Doc ID 1080940.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 25, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 12.0.4 to 12.1.2 [Release 12.0 to 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Applied Receipts Journal Report

Symptoms

The Applied Receipts Journal and the Applied Receipts Register do not match when you have a receipt that application date is different of General Ledger Application Date.

For example:

Running for reports for 01-DEC-2009 to 31-DEC-2009
There is a receipt with Application Date on November but GL Application Date on December,
The receipt shows on the Applied Receipts Register but not on the Applied Receipts Journal.

The Oracle Receivables User Guide (Receivables Standard Reports and Listings page 10-25) states:
'When reconciling, the Applied Receipts Register's total should match the
Applied Receipts Journal.', but it is not happening in this case.
