Employee has an Involuntary Deduction order under bankruptcy category.
Change deduction amount to zero at the beginning of the pay period and process payroll.
Expect 0.00 for bankruptcy deduction but it is an amount > 0.00.
Had to enter a Replace Amount of 0.00 in the Special Inputs element to not have the element process a non-zero amount.
Confirmed that when a zero or null amount is entered in the base Bankruptcy element, the system is using the Wage Attachment Rules to calculate a deduction.
The element could not be end dated with an effective date prior to the first day of the pay period as the payroll for the prior pay period was already processed and a retroactive change is not allowed for Wage Attachment elements.
Tested with an amount of 0.01 and the element calculated based on the value entered.
The following error is received when attempting to change the end date in the prior pay period:
APP-PAY-07798 You cannot delete this entry. This entry has been processed in a payroll run. Backpay is not currently supported for third party payments (garnishments in the US). If you want to remove this entry, you must first rollback or mark for retry the run in which this entry was processed.
